Network Engineer — South Africa

TrueMark is looking for a Network Engineer with experience designing, implementing, maintaining, and automating enterprise networks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance and recommendations around tooling, automation, and technologies used in your area of expertise.
• Assist with spinning up and managing networks in AWS as well as Data Center networks.
• Work with customers on Datacenter migrations to AWS.
• Work with customers to establish DR setup and testing.
• Build automation using Terraform, AWS CDK, Python, etc.

Requirements:

• Experience as a network engineer to help troubleshoot Firewall rules, VPN connectivity, routing issues, and NAT translations.
• Ability to explain and diagnose network issues with engineers or product owners.
• Strong Networking fundamentals knowledge.
• Technical knowledge with Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, Arista, and AWS networking.
• Desire to learn and become proficient in new technology.
• Working Knowledge of Routing and switching protocols and technologies.
• Experience scripting for automation (Terraform, AWS CDK, Python, etc.).
• OSPF and BGP.
• Firewalls and Load Balancers.
• Site-to-site VPN and cloud connectivity (IPSEC, and Direct connect).
• AWS and Terraform.
